Join our Elementary Cross Country this year!  There is no direct supervision for your child between 3:10 pm and 3:30 pm, please talk to your child's teachers to confirm where your child will be.  

 Each practice will meet at the outdoor ticket booth.

• Grades: Open to all boys and girls in grades 4–6.
• Dates & Schedule:
  • Practices run from the week of September 14 through the week of October 9.
  • Specific practice days are currently unknown and will be communicated at a later time.
  • Practice times: 3:30 PM – 4:30 PM (after school).
  • Frequency: Students will meet 2–3 times per week, depending on the meet schedule for that week.
• Location: Practice starts and ends at the ticket booth near the elementary playground. Students will change after school and head straight there.
• Meets: We are planning for 3 meet opportunities (1 home meet and 2 away meets at MacCray/RCW Stoney Creek Golf Course and Montevideo River Crest Golf Course—subject to change). Exact meet times are to be determined.
• Practice Attire: Athletes should wear weather-appropriate clothing (shorts and a t-shirt, depending on the temperature). Proper athletic/tennis shoes are required—athletes will not be allowed to run in sandals, Crocs, or open-toed shoes. Long hair must be tied back.
• Registration: All sign-ups will be handled through Community Education. T-shirt sizes (Youth through Adult) will be collected during registration.
• Communication: Parents MUST join our Elementary Cross Country Remind group upon registration using the class code lakerrun. To maintain security, parents/guardians will be approved to join the group only after Community Education confirms their registration. All updates regarding practice schedules, weather, and meet times will be sent exclusively through Remind; separate emails will not be sent.
• Transportation: Parents are strictly responsible for all transportation to and from practices and meets. School bus transportation is not available.
